Disaster Relief for Texas

As a Salvation Army first responder, Midwest Food Bank is answering the call to send disaster relief food boxes to Texas. Midwest Food Bank received a wonderful blessing from Team 224, an offer to host a fundraising bike ride. The first Food Bank Flyer was held on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

Golf Outing 2017

Friday, June 16, 2017, was a beautiful day – blue skies and a gentle breeze. The LORD blessed our second annual Golf Outing with excellent weather.

Serving from a new location

Midwest Food Bank is now fully operational at our new location: 2031 Warehouse Road, Normal, IL. Food had gradually been stored here as warehouse space was completed. Offices were moved on Saturday, April 15, and Monday, April 17 marked our first full day here.

Volunteers work to make 2017 Gala a success

Our 7th Annual Gala and Auction was held on Saturday, April 16, 2017. Guests began arriving at 4pm and enjoyed appetizers and perusing the auction items. The silent auction ended and a delicious steak dinner was served at 5:45. Following that was a lively auction, run by Clark and Lynn Stoller.
